Soon India will also have bullet train running at speed 300-350 km per hour, On first phase it will have two interconnected railway tracks
Delhi-Chandigarh-Amritsar” and
Pune-Mumbai-Ahmedabad”
High-speed train running at 300-350 kmph may be launched before 2015. High-tech energy efficient and environment friendly systems in the project would be used to ensure high efficiency. The current target would be only “rich passengers” who are ready to buy tickets in comparison to with airline fares. The construction work for the project would take at least five years to complete. |

The Bandra Worli Sea Link will be an 8-lane and its a cable-stayed bridge, which will link Bandra and Worli and central Mumbai, and is the first phase of the proposed West Island Freeway system. The total project cost is expected near around Rs. 1600 crore by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) is being executed by Hindustan Construction Company.
Mumbai's second sealink has been planned between worli and Haji Ali. It is a 4.5 km stretch and will cost Rs 750 crore. It will be a six-lane carriageway. The other two sealinks will be Haji Ali to Bhulabhai Desai Road and from Bhulabhai Desai Road to Nariman Point. |

| Tehri Dam - 5th tallest dam in the world is the primary dam of the Tehri Development Project, a major hydroelectric project situated near Tehri Town in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Located on the Bhagirathi River, the Tehri Dam has a height of 855 feet (261 m).. The dam has a power generation capacity of 2400 MW, irrigation to an area of 270,000 hectares, irrigation stabilization to an area of 600,000 hectares, and a supply of 270 million gallons of drinking water per day to the areas of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. |
